x101xtreme Posted October 13, 2008 Report Share Posted October 13, 2008 Hey, I just updated my drivers to 179.13 from the website, but the brightness controls stopped working. Now my laptop is always on 100% brightness regardless of the vista power settings. Is there a known fix for this problem? I've tried reinstalling the display driver after doing a driver clean, but the fn brightness controls still don't work. In addition, there's no brightness control in the windows mobility center or in the nv control panel. I'm using the 9600m gt on my laptop.
