vj_julie Posted October 20, 2008 Report Share Posted October 20, 2008 hello tried to install driver 175.75 nvidia from dell onto a dell vostro 1700 WIN XP 32bit SP2. seems simple, but the driver refused to install. the error message was: "could not locate any drivers compatible with your current hardware" i have a geforce 8600M GT and my device number is PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0407&SUBSYS_02291028&REV_A1\4&15F4A1BE&0&0008 and DEV_0407&SUBSYS_02291028 is in the list of supported hardware with original INF support so, am i misunderstanding something here? need help... thanks in advance julie Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
