Guest Guest
It's definitely the inf. I just diffed the original inf and the modded inf, aside from the obvious version difference, there are also some files for installation that are not being described in the modded inf as well as wrong version description inside of the registry. Guest jiangchen
Because dual display does not work in SLi mode, never has. Read up more about SLi...GOOGLE is your friend :) Well dual monitor does not work for me as well although I do not have SLI. I am using my laptop to connect to another monitor. Everytime I restart my computer it goes back to normal setting with the other monitor having a low resolution.

jeff lackey
I also had some weird things happen with these: I got the same mismatch message when I try to access the control panel, for some odd reason some of my systray icons just stopped showing up, and when I tried to reinstall, I ended up in 800x600 4 bit color mode with no way to change out of it. Fortunately I did a system restore (I always set one of those up when I install new drivers.) Guest Tombo
Uhhh... all these problems I don't think I'm going to try these drivers. I'll wait till a fix comes out and use 180.42 instead.
Aryantes
8800M GTX SLI Cannot successfully install these drivers. All sorts of issues. Running the setup.exe does not update anything. It removes old drivers then fails install after reboot. Using Have-Disk gives me a "Device cannot start" error.
Guest aleXXXps
From what I've heard, these drivers are absolute crap and do not work at all. Avoid them at all costs, I have not heard any positive responses to them yet. Stick with the 179'ers

d3v
even though i haven't tried it yet i'd better say thanks now, while i can, as i have no internet connection where i am stayingthough the leet speak is a tad disconcerting :) just an update the new inf worked to get the drivers installed as usual, though i will add somethng that i've experienced:- i like to use the "change flat panel scaling" properties page to set my screen output to "use nvidia scaling with fixed-aspect ratio" so that i always get a crisp pixel-pixel output, even if displayed on an area smaller than my screen's capabilities. recently, on some older games, this has caused corrupt menu screens and text and even caused a lockup and bsod. i'm not used to seeing bsod's on my machine :) . i've had to get used to switching between my usual choice and the default "use nvidia scaling" to avoid troublesome instances like this. i cannot verify whether this would've been present with specific games before this driver release, as i can't remember what i played and when and under what settings, only that i never experienced this problem before
Guest Cyb
Hello everyone I've got a Geforce 7600 Go @ my Amilo 1557 - would you recommend to install the 180.43? Or maybe another one? (180.42 for example?) Thanks for the Help :) Greetings
