morten01 Posted October 25, 2008 Report Share Posted October 25, 2008 Hi all. I hope someone can help me with this problem. I have a Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo A3667G laptop. Recently I bought a new videocard from MXM-upgrade, a Geforce 8600m GS card. This card took me a while to get installed physically, but I succeeded (a bit to my own surprise, I'll admit :) Now, after talking several times to Kris, and getting good advice, I've been trying to install the drivers. I've used several versions of the ones on Laptopvideo2go, and even with the modded INF file they give me trouble. They seem to work with normal desktop work, and I can run the machine on high resolutions, but as soon I start programs like the Sims 2 or Spore, it runs for about 5 minutes, and then the screen freezes and then nothing happens... Very annoying and frustrating, and I don't know what to do.... Can someone help me, please?
