deaday
I need help with video playback on a secondary display. I have a Compal JHL90 with GeForce 9600M GT. So if have the following problem. I have a CRT monitor connected to my laptop via 15-pin VGA. On the built-in LCD video playback is fine, there's zero tearing. However, on the CRT the tearing is terrible. Even AERO is tearing which is odd. I have tried making the CRT the primary display, and even tried disabling the LCD so the CRT is the only output device. No luck. I have tried enabling Direct3D Fullscreen mode in Media Player Classic, and forcing vsync in the NVidia driver global settings. Didn't work. I was using the latest 180.44 ForceWare so i tried rolling back to the latest Compal driver which is 176.31. I've run out of ideas. If you've ever experienced the same problem before, please, any help would be appreciated! Or if you have the same card and have no tearing your secondary display, please tell me which driver you're using! Thanks in advance
