New drivers made something go away

Greetings!

I have an Acer laptop, with the programm called EMPOWERING TECHNOLOGIES!

There is this application called EPOWER.

What this does is, it gives me the "freedom" to set the

PROCESSOR power

BRIGHTNESS OF MY SCREEN and

my GRAPHIC CARD power

Now, ever since i installed the drivers of this page, the GRAPHIC thing is gone.

I can now only set processor power and screen brightness.

"EDIT - AT LEAST I THINK ITS AFTER INSTALLING THE NEW DRIVERS"

Does this have anything to do with the "POWERMIZER" thing?

Also another very weird thing is that.... when i unplug my laptop, and i keep it unplugged till 10% batterie power, i check in the programm and THE GRAPHIC thing was there.....

i am not understanding something.... can someone help me ? Rid me of my ignorance!

highly appreciated

Juan

Hi Pistino!

i have the ACER ASPIRE 8920.

so i have the 9500m GS

im using the 180.44 drivers... cause i play Fallout3 and FarCry2 etc

i just installed the 179.14, and they clearly sucked!

what is the powermizert thing ? is that why the GRAFIC gauge is gone?
