Guest ramon Posted December 2, 2008 Report Share Posted December 2, 2008 everytime i play combat arms, itll be fine until like a couple minutes into the game and it flashes black re wuick and then stays black but continues playin the game until i press CTRL+ALT-DELETE. And it zooms back to my main screen and it says shutdown, start task manager, and some other options, i press cancel and it zooms in again and i can play again but it keeps sayin there was a fail in my display driver, and then it recovered but yet it keeps happenin... can anyone help? wook Posted December 3, 2008 Report Share Posted December 3, 2008 basically the first port of call is to change your driver. 179.14 is the best performing driver, but if you have having heat issues then i'd chose a different one. 177.92 may also work well. try that next. when you download the driver, you will also need to download the inf file. extract the driver to a folder, then paste the modified inf file to that same folder. then run setup.exe done!
