Black screen on statup after upgrade x1400 to x1800 on amilo pi1536

Hello everyone,hope someone can help with this issue

i've just upgraded a video card on my amilo pi 1536

Core2 Duo T7200 2.00TGHz

2xMEM 512M DDR 533

Hard 120GB SATA

from ati x1400 to ati x1800

every time when i start it-black screen appears and

windows won't boot,i have to switch it off/on again

then it says-windows did not start seccessful-i hit start normally

and then it works

does anyone have any idea how to fix that???

Check the settings in your laptop BIOS for anything related to power management and the video card.

Secondly, you might have to flash the bios on your video card in order for it to work properly. If your laptop manufacturer makes the same laptop with x1800 you will need that exact bios although you might find other's that are compatible.

If your computer jumps into windows and then goes black, sounds like it is a driver or installation issues. I recommend uninstalling what is it Catalyst drivers? And installing with the latest available to you. Sorry I use nvidia.
