servac7
no, if you have DDR2 installed, you don't... DDR2 have 204 pins and DDR3 240, your chipset (PM 45) can, but your motherboard's dimms doesn't
FilthGrinder
is it possible to upgrade it somehow?
wook
to be honest you would notice or fee any difference. windows index score may go up by.3 or something.. but yeah. and no you can change the slots.
servac7
you can try some 800Mhz DDR2 memory, upgrading from your actual 667 another difference beside the 240 pins, is that DDR3 uses like 1.6V or less and DDR2 uses 1.8V
Morris
some motherboards support both(having dedicated DDR2 and DDR3 slots) and only one type can be used at once, so, say like 2 DDR2 slots and 2 DDR3 Slots, won't work if you have both DDR2 and DDR3 installed.
