Guest Crusoe Posted January 9, 2009 Report Share Posted January 9, 2009 Please help me. I can't install driver 181.20 on my geforce AGP 7800 GS Bliss. Probably problem is with .inf file. Driver 185.20 and 181.00 with modded inf installed properly. Driver 181.20 don't install above original like and modded inf. PLS tell me how i can change inf that driver install. Download from Nvidia official website the driver 181.20 and install this one... Just replace before the original INF with the modded INF that u can download here at page 1 of this topic.. When I try this, with the driver from this page the device manager write "file missing". BTW.: Why must I register to post answers? When I am a guest I have to type creepy captchas and then I get a message like "must be verifyed be moderator" and such c**p Then the post won't be published. This is tool that doing the same thing as guys here - adding support of Mobile geforces to desktop driver. 2 ) if u have problems with driver installation like "the installation didnt changed anything in your system and blah blah blah" just remove file PhysX_*****_SystemSoftware from folder where driver was unpaked - i noticed that if u already have physx installed SILENT physx driver installation just may hang\freeze in process list and that the reason why many peoples cannot sucessfully install Nvidia drivers and recieving "system has not been modified" message in the end - remove physx installer from driver insaller`s folder and everything will be ok (u can install it later manualy anyway) Also here the working modded inf for 181.20 for all the lazy guys (but im nor sure if it work for all the cards, and u have to add many custom display resolutions in control panel, but at least i can sucessfully use sleep mode on my HP pavilon, when all the Modded infs from these threads always giving me just black screen and freeze after waking up laptop from sleep mode) )) http://forums.laptopvideo2go.com/index....st&p=103757 Edited January 10, 2009 by Voodooman Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

But when I wait a minute (the keyboard is frozen for that time) I'll get a bluescrren with the NVIDIA Driver. (Ich habe das gleiche Problem. Arifast Posted February 5, 2009 Report Share Posted February 5, 2009 This driver crashes when waking up from sleep mode or hibernation mode. Glad i wasn't the only one.
