hi

just trying to figure out a way to upgrade drivers on my laptop (dell with 7900gs unlocked) AND to mantain the overclock option working...

why cant simply update the driver and expect normal panel to work? :)

ive noticed how some new games (like burnout) cant simply run on old drivers such as 163.44 and wanted to somehow play it.

isnt there a way to override the non-working OC panel with a good one? or its the driver whos locked or somethin?

if this is not possible, is there a way to update being also sure to have OC ability? trying some new drivers here, but they look all locked...

No. Its the combination of the driver and your hard+software. I for instance have almost never anymore problems with overclocking and Control Panel - what I had in the past.

Try 185.20 - it has been successful for many with OC problems.
