HP Compaq 8510w graphic problem, randomly crashes

So I just bought a Compaq 8510w, first I was abit sceptic since ive heard it was problems with the fan and such. But I bought it anyways.

I installed World of Warcraft and I get random crashes when it just sometimes freezes up and sometimes wow error(game crash).

I read that this computer mostly was for CAD/3d programs etc, but i mostly use if for games. I got the computer on a good price deal.

NVIDIA Quadro FX 570M

I use graphic drivers from hp.com (176.87 A)

I also use Windows Xp, service pack 2

This is what i found on another site

You may need to track down alternate modified drivers to get it working fine in games, apparently it is similar to the 8600M notebook gpu and there may be some modified 8600M drivers that work for it.

You might have luck finding modified drivers at http://laptopvideo2go.com/

So what do you think I should do? Should I try a modified driver if so, what driver?

If anyone got a similar problem, post here so we maybe can get more information

Sorry for my bad english, hope you can get it trough :)

This is the latest quadro driver:

To support your card you need to put this into the driver:

Or You can download version 179.44.

It's the latest driver for our card (FX 570M), by Windows Update.

In this case You don't need any modded .inf.

It's a good overall driver. I don't know if it solve also your problem.

I think 182.08 is a bit faster, but it's not build for mobile and for our card.

Make your choice.

Remember, before install a new driver,

remove the old,

reboot in safe mode,

clean with driver sweeper,

install.

Bye

Wrong. It's mobile but just for the latest NVS cards.
