magnifisa
Hello, I have a sony vaio vgn-fz340e model laptop. I upgraded its memory to 4GB and then I installed Vista Ultimate x64 to be able to utilize the RAM as 4GB. Everything is allright but the graphics card. As you also know, it has a NVIDIA GeForce 8400m gt graphics card. I was able to use my graphics card on Vista x86 but now I can't. I tried so many drivers that're given as 64bit NVIDIA driver but all the setups reported the same as "The NVIDIA Setup program could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware. Setup will now exit.". So... :) Helpp!!! :)

Guest plbr77@hotmail.com
i had the same problem. try to force driver update via device manager, choose the display adapter show in vista (Standard VGA Graphics Adapter), right click 'update Driver software'. then select browse my computer for driver then choose let me pick a list of device drivers unselect show compatible hardware click in have disk and browse nvidia uncompressed vista64 driver select your adapter 8400M GT and force driver instalation after a wile, reboot vista and see if driver was updated in my case only in the second boot the driver was fully funcional. regards Marcello Coutinho
