nickspeed8
I just got the Acer Aspire 6930 laptop and it comes with the intel graphics with the shared video ram. I was wondering if it might qualify for a video upgrade or if I'm stuck with wht I have. Thank you take care :) nick w
Guest carahan
Sorry, but any laptop that comes with only Intel graphics generally cannot upgrade the graphics - I know it is disappointing that laptops aren't upgradeable like desktops. Some notebooks have both nvidia and intel available like in the Dell XPS M1330, but only one can be there at a time. There are a couple that have both like the Alienware m15x, but yours won't be able to support that. Generally, only large, gaming laptops MIGHT come with an MXM slot or two. Any laptop with only intel is not a gaming laptop and therefore does not have an MXM slot. The only way to improve the graphics performance on your laptop is well...another, likely more expensive laptop.

ACP0WER
You can always open (if youre warranty is expired) it to check if it has an MXM slot. Good luck
