sonoggi Posted May 3, 2009 Report Share Posted May 3, 2009 hi there. just got my HP HDX 18 laptop with the 9600m GT card. overall, im satisfied with the performance but i have one issue. i play WoW and Eve online....the fps is great but i get these short, frequent lockups. game will run smoothly, and every once in a while screen will freeze for half a second. the other thing that occurs rarely is a lockup that lasts about a minute. this only happens in WoW. my heat is good...~57 degrees without anything running, 71 degrees after 2 hours of gaming. i have 185.20 drivers. any idea how i can fix this? is this a known issue?
