ylwzx3
For some reason I get bad desktop lag and scrolling gets very sow. I noticed that my gpu's core mhz goes from the low 100's to 600, and it starts smoothing out when that happens. Does anyone know whats going on? I've got my power settings to high performance... Not sure what to do but it is annoying...

Under control panel is Nvidia Control Panel, go to Mobile settings and disable Powermizer, should do the trick.
Au_Xtr3me
Use a different set of drivers. I assume that you are using windows vista, so try using the official nvidia drivers or the latest Dox release (185.68 I think). This issue is caused by certain drivers concerning powermizer. Other drivers will keep powermizer functionality but will not lag up scrolling.
