Guest Alex
My GPU is getting way too hot when im playing, then i saw that you can control your fans speed at certain heats with rivatuner, and i tried to do that. But you cant do that in windows vista. Anybody know a solution. or is there another program which do can do the same, and works on vista. Thanks for all advice, on advance =)

Guest Guest djanzy
The main reason for overheating is dust. I advice you to clean the heatsink before trying something else. I also had a 8600m gt that was overheating (90°C ingame). After cleaning temperatures dropped 20°C ingame and 10°C idle.
Guest Alex
I have tried that, but not to open the back and clean it, just blowed some air into it, should i try to open it???
zipper
If blowing isn't enough and you still have problems. Yes, done it but won't necessarily do if warranty still exists like on my current lappie.
