Forceware 185.93 is out

Was told this release was in Windows 7 build 7201

SO I grabbed both versions and have uploaded them both here.

These are accordig to the INF WDDM 1.x compliant.

These look more like the original Vista LDDM drivers as they have no functionality at all (ie no Control Panel etc)

I assume only 3D effects are enabled to allow for AERO effects to work.

These at this point will not be in the official download setion (mainly due to our auto poster not knowing how to handle this timy driver)

So you will only find them here.

There is NO installer, so for those wanting to give these a spin (and your GPU is supported) then a driver update via Device Manager will be needed.

If you GPU is not supported but would like to give these ago anyway, force an install of a GPU closest to what you have.

For those with 5x00 and below GPU's that would like Win 7 Aero, these may be a good place to start.

OMG, this one is very good in 3dmark!

stock speed (400/800/400)

185.85 Dox --> 3268 3dMarks

185.93 ---------> 3502 3dMarks

Overclock (550/1100/450)

185.93 ---------> 4504 3dMarks

Can't install this one with device manager.

Says not supported OS found.

I choose Seven x64 and got the RC installed.

Is this only for a newer release of seven ?

How can i update or found an new install image or something

to make me system up to newest version? (7201)

EDIT: Why the inf says it is for vista ???

I guess it's time to get a new computer no? I'm not going to use the Win7 RC on my main laptop due I need it for work and studies. But on my secondary yes.

This are really good drivers. I installed them on my Vista laptop that has an 8400M GT overclocked to 702/1800/920 and it increased my PCmark 05 3d benchmark by almost 500 points. java script:add_smilie(" :) ","smid_35")

This are really good drivers. I installed them on my Vista laptop that has an 8400M GT overclocked to 702/1800/920 and it increased my PCmark 05 3d benchmark by almost 500 points. java script:add_smilie(" :) ","smid_35")

Here the thing is for me I'm not even sure if HP sore of lock up my laptop to prevent overclocking or anything. Even tho, HP disable the ability to read the battery time left remaining... just showing percentage %...

I used to Firmware Overclocked with Nibitor 5.0 on my old laptop. But this new one, I'll wait a bit. I don't want to burst things up.

As they haven't installer, cp etc. are they recommandable? are good? stuff like these ...
