Equal1zer
That's the question. Do we have to link core and shader clock? i have 675 core 1350 shader and thats the limit i cant overclock further cause of the artifact things. Can I go further with my shader clock? And will that improve my performance? Thanks already. :)
zipper
You can lower core and rise shader (or visa versa) to test but the gains may be small. I could get my best results with lower core+higher shader but it depends on individual chip charasteristics.

Equal1zer
I oc'ed my shader %75 and it gave me a quiet good performance.. my 3dmark06 score at 1280x800 jumped to 3900 from 3600 it's very good for a 8600m gs ddr i think.. also my core is %50 oc'ed but memory isnt oc'ed that much. its about %25.. I wanna give some voltage to my card but im a little afraid.. Can a gpu burn without overheating im wondering that.. If it cant i will give some voltage..
