neilmacd74 Posted October 27, 2009 Report Share Posted October 27, 2009 Hi, total Newbie on here but hopefully someone can help I've been tryin to install an updated driver for my 8400m GT for my Vaio VGN-AR71M with no success. I've downloaded 179.44 and aslo a Vista/ Windows 7 Compatible driver as I'm in the process of upgrading to Windows 7. Every time I run the setup.exe file after extracting the download I get an error along the lines of "Cannot detect a driver compatible with your hardware. Setup will now exit" Prior to trying to install the driver from here I contacted Sony who were as much use as a chocolate teapot and basically said the drivers which I've already installed were teh most up to date.
