Guest Gregory
Hello. One of my two network adapters I am trying to set up is Realtek RTL8187 Wireless 802.11 b/g 54 Mbps USB 2.0 Network Adapter. I am trying to update my driver for it, but I found a rather interesting dillema. Notice that after the numbers 8187 there is no letter, like "L" or "B". Every driver I find is listed for the following cards: RTL8187B RTL8187L RTL8187SE Notice the letters after the numbers. Now, I first asumed that these were simply different models of adapters and that may very well be the case. But the problem is that I cannot find any drivers anywhere for RTL8187. Only the ones with the letter. So, I looked very hard for a more complete name of my adapter, thinking that Realtek simply didn't put the letter on the device itself. But no luck. So, my question is: If I install RTL8187B driver, will it be compatible? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
