Twisteds7
I spent a few minutes trying to determine if or what I could upgrade my current wlan card with, but I couldn't find anything. Currently while trying to game I must be wired because when wireless I get random spots of lag due to latency issues or packet loss based on how the stuttering acts. Of course Comcast has told me that that everything looks good on their end. I use a D-Link DIR-655 Xtreme N router which is about 45 feet (and one wall) away from my desk. My card is updated to the most current (to my knowledge) driver version 13.0.0.107 dated 9/15/2009.
Bill
It should have a standard miniPCI or miniPCIE slot. Look in your laptop's service manual for what kind it uses. You should be able to just take off one cover on the bottom of your laptop to see your wireless card, it will have antenna's attached. You can then look at the connection it uses. Then buy a new card. http://www.oxfordtec.com/us/MiniPCI-Wireless-Cards/c36/index.html miniPCI http://www.oxfordtec.com/us/MiniPCI-EXPRESS-Wireless/c42/index.html miniPCI express. You should ask Pieter what he would recommend as I haven't kept up with the latest Atheros chipsets. But of course you want a decent Atheros ABGN chipset at least. Twisteds7
Thank you very much for your response. I'm sure I can hunt down Pieter's opinion in the forum... if not PM inc!

Twisteds7
The WPEA-110n looks like a potential winner.
