Guest bemymonkey Posted March 8, 2010 Report Share Posted March 8, 2010 I've been having trouble finding a driver for my Thinkpad SL500 too (also running the 9300M GS). The problem is that I can't seem to find a driver on LaptopVideo2Go that clocks the GPU back down into Standard 2D mode properly when it's idle... it always gets stuck in Low Power 3D mode, which uses a lot more power (that's another hour of my already low 3 hour max battery life just gone) und generates too much heat. Anyone know a driver that supports CUDA and the nVidia-native over-/underclocking on the 9300M GS and switches back to Standard 2D mode reliably?
