Blue Screen of Death on Windows 7 x64 with NVIDIA GTX 260M. Laptop model is ASUS G51VX-RX05 (with G61VX motherboard).

What laptop make and model houses your 260M?

Can you give me the steps you took to install your drivers? I may have missed something.

For some reason, I can't seem to get GPU PhysX to work with these on my 8600m GT. It is enabled in the Nvidia control panel, and the latest PhysX drivers are installed, but GPU-Z and the PhysX demos say it is not working.

260m here. Everything looks and performs fine. No BSOD.

I have an Asus G72. All I did was uninstall previous drivers, reboot to safe mode, run driver sweeper, reboot again, then install using the above inf.

I have a 360m and can't get these to install even with the modified inf. Any ideas? Tried using both device mgr and setup, both won't work. Setup still gives me the "can't find hardware to match" error.

Try going back a PhysX version, I think the latest is meant for new GPU's, I read this somewhere.

BSOD after install. HP HDX 9494NR 8800M GTS, last working driver is the 195.81 released by Nvidia.

Did the Uninstall boot into safemode run Driversweeper, boot back into normal windws clean registry and install. Been like this for ages...

I tried. No change. Going back to the last driver does fix the issue, though. I have also reproduced this issue on another 8600m GT, but failed to reproduce it on a 9500 gt (not mobile).

Hi, exact same thing here on Dell M1530 with 8600M GT, but I wouldn't worry about it. I don't think our GPU has enough cojones to render a game as well as do Phys X, I think we'd better leave that to the big boys!! :)

I get the BSOD on all 196 drivers. This is the only 197 I have tried but it BSOD as well.

I do find though that running on battery when booting up will get me into windows fine and then after plugging back in gaming is great with these (Bad Company 2).

could you update the inf to 4.022 for this driver (197.13) as well?

or can I just use the 4.022 inf from the 107.15 driver for this one too?

and is there any reason to use the 197.15 instead of the 197.13 for nvidia geforce 9600m gt?
