I want an inf on this bad boy,.. looks bomb ! GT330M

Edit the INF (text editor like Notepad) and find this line:

%NVIDIA_DEV.0A29.02% = Section069, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0A29&SUBSYS_00B91B0A

Now make it look like this:

%NVIDIA_DEV.0A29.02% = Section069, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0A29

Install driver and come back here with good news :)

ok I get it now,.. The bastards make subsys sintax so it works on their model only,.. I mean there is a reason for that,.. I guess no two manufacturers make exactly the same card ,.. so its about stability and stuf,.. but actually they are more or less the same,.. So its your risk,..

ok still cant get it to work,.. changed then nvam setupfile ,.. It says its not signed, but i dont care couse runing win7 in test mode,.. but then says windows not right or some bulls***,.. But really dont care unless they re super fast cousse thanx to you I have so many drivers its crazy...

Wow this looks exciting, if the Optimus does work for every laptop! I have a Sony Vaio CW series with core i5 & GT330M that is coming in on Tuesday and will definitely have to try this when I do a complete clean reinstall.

Just curious, is it to my understanding that from Optimus, if successfully installed, will allow full automatic switching between the integrated GPU and GT330M? I'm hoping that there is also a setting to where you can even completely shut off the GT330M for stamina and saving power while running on battery. That would be great like in the Z series!

Oh and from what I have read above I do plan on modding the inf file. If that doesn't work can I basically just extract the subsys code from the original Sony provided drivers of the GT330M and and input that into the Optimus inf file?

Thanks for all this development btw, can't wait to see if this works!
