Laptop Help
Battery caring tips for Hp pavilion dv6000 battery Well tips for taking care of any kind of battery are: when you first receive the battery, charge it to full. then use the battery until the last drop.and then use the battery as normal. this really determines the high and low of the battery. if you don't do this properly the battery will not run to its full capacity. Don’t overcharge it, if it's full, stop charging it. All batteries have a life-expectancy, so don't expect it to last forever, or even like the day you first bought it. ricktendo64
For someone who is advertising his site and sells batteries one would think you would know better... 1st the battery memory does not apply to lion 2nd in modern laptops you cannot overcharge, once the battery is full the laptop should automatically stop charging The only reason you have to discharge a lion battery fully every once in a while has to do with the fuel gauge, if you half discharge and recharge your battery many times this becomes less accurate...and to fix it all you need to do is fully discharge and it should be back to normal
