mobilenvidia
Getting a lot of issues with drivers not working with some features. If you guys can report back here with which driver has everything working as it should. It will help other folk who are trying to make it work actually pick a driver where it does :) So with which driver(s) does: PhysX Direct Compute OpenCL CUDA all Work ? GPUz can be found in our "Tools' section to check to see if these features are enabled. Very frustrating NVIDIA harping on about so called features that are supposed to come with their GPU's but then their drivers go and disable them. Guest eturk
Just installed nVidia verde 197.16. All 4 GPU-Z "compute" features are checked at bottom. seems to work well. but occasionally getting a spatter pattern around a window. didn't happen in Asus driver. have a new Asus G51Jx-x2 with GTS 360. :) that nVidia has actually released a new driver. Not holding my breath they will actually continue as I truly think laptop makers want their hardware to have planned obsolescence.

Michael Marley
For my GPU (8600m GT) GPUZ reports OpenCL no, CUDA yes, PhysX no, and DirectCompute Yes, but this other tool reports everything working except PhysX.
Guest Eliot the Cougar
Updated my driver Before update 196.21: CUDA+DirectCompute (I have no PhysX support on my s***ty 8400M G) After update 197.16: CUDA+OpenCL DirectCompute was disabled somehow... Can't run DirectComputeBenchmark now... I'm not complaining, my card is too slow for any serious computation anyway... BTW, Powermizer was disabled too... I have to use Powermizer manager tool to enable it again...
UncleSpam
With Forceware 196.34, I have ALL enabled. My problem is that Powermizeer does not work when using an external display (tested with DVI and DisplayPort). The GPU clockrate stays stuck at high speed (3D mode) even when the computer is idle.
