I have a Gateway p6860fx with 8800m GTS 512 mb dedicated video card running Windows vista 64 bit. Unfortunately I have been unable to update the video card driver as when I try to install the latest Nvidia card it tells me to contact the laptop manufacturer. The gateway website has the video card drivers dated 2008. Will the drivers from this website that are 'forceware' safely update my video drivers?
