Guest Final
Hi, I have a toshiba satellite 2450 laptop with a nvidia geforce4 420 go in it. I see users saying theyre using version 77.xx, etc with theirs but the best update toshiba gives me is a 36.xx or something. I was wondering if there are any updates or at best a "good" driver or updated driver I could/should use? advice anyone?
Guest Bruxie
In theory anything up to 100.xx could work but the performance will be worse than with your current drivers. Simply GeForce 420go is a very very old card. You could try 46.66 drivers. They seem to do wonders for GeForce 5200go (Toshiba Tecra M2). Guest Final
Im running windows 7 now. The drivers for 46.xx say only XP 32 bit. Would it still work? If not..what should I do?
Guest Bruxie
Yes, they should work on Windows 7 I think. XP 32-bit drivers do work on Windows Vista although without aero interface for GeForce 5200Go.
