8800M GTS not overclocking with 25x drivers

I have been unsuccessful in getting the coolbits reg edit to allow the NVidia Control Panel to allow overclocking. I have a Gateway P-6831FX with an 512MB 8800M GTS card. Any ideas on how to get these drivers to allow overclocking?
