Guest roastspud
Hi, Could anyone post a n00b guide to customize some new drivers to work for the Acer Aspire 5745PG. It uses a 310M/Intel GMA.

Guest roastspud
A update.. I gave up and downgraded bios and switched my graphics to discrete. I can now install the Verde drivers from the nvidia site :)
Guest lostboykev
I've got the Acer 5742G and it wont even detect the intel HD graphics. So the optimus drivers wont install. and verde will install but no switching of intel to nvidia, yet my laptop has optimus. what the hell is wrong with that?! Nautis1100
I've got the Acer 5742G and it wont even detect the intel HD graphics. So the optimus drivers wont install. and verde will install but no switching of intel to nvidia, yet my laptop has optimus. what the hell is wrong with that?! You might want to recheck your notebook. There really is no way for Optimus or the Nvidia GPU to work without the Intel portion. This is because Optimus causes the Nvidia portion to use the display connected through the Intel GPU. The Nvidia GPU has no direct connections to the display.
