Guest Chuu
I need to find 64-bit drivers for an old laptop, which has a GF4Go 440MX card. Ideally XP-x64 (since chipset drivers exist for this, but not for Vista/7 x64). This laptop has an absolutely beautiful matte screen and is fast enough for the programming work I do, but I just got assigned to a project that is native 64-bit and I cannot debug it on 32 bit systems. I have two questions: 1. Does anyone know the latest forceware version that has a replacement INF for XP-64? I spent close to an hour looking and every single driver I found did not. 2. Is this a lost cause? I understand the process of getting this video card to work in Windows 7, but from reading the history of the drivers of this card I think that they (64-bit) simply might not exist. StefanG3D
Microsoft DirectX SDK unsupported legacy GPUs in December 2006; ATI and NVIDIA followed. Therefore you need a "Pre-100 Driver" released before 12/13/2006, e.g. "97.44 XP64".
