I am new to this site and for the last 48 hours have been trying to find a working driver for an Nvidia GeForce GO 7400 on a Sony Vaio model VGC-LS37E. (it's technically a desktop but it has laptop components. see here I have used various program to identify the card. The hardware ID is PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_01D8&SUBSYS_8205104D. I am running Windows 7 Ultimate x86 (32 bit). I have tried drivers from Nvidia, from this site, and numerous others. I have modded .inf files, with no success.

Drivers from Laptop2go install, but upon restart I get a bsod and a crash. If there is anyone out there that can help me with this, please speak up. I am very grateful for any help you can offer. Thank you.

Try these out: =win7x32"]http://laptopvideo2go.com/drivers?dev=01D8⊂=&whql=0〈=0&orderby=version&dir=desc&os=&os[]=win7x32

The great thing about those drivers is that they are from Microsoft Update and support a ton of graphic cards (so you dont need a modded INF), thanks to a file call NV_WHQL.INF

I too have a Sony and they suck at updating drivers so I also have to use these, right now I am using 257.41

I'm having similar issue trying to get GeForce Go 7400 working on an old HP Paviliion, dv8320ca, a desktop replacement laptop.

I've tried the 179.48_notebook_winvista_win7_32bit_beta from NVidia site, and the standard WinUpdate drivers, and some others, none seem to work so far...

Thanks for the links to try some other versions.
