azertyuuuu
Hello I've just bought a new computer (aspire 5742G) with i5 460M core and geforce gt540M. I've noticed that when I check my graphic drivers, it says that I have intel HD graphics drivers, instead of nvidia drivers. But when I check Nvidia control panel it says I have 259.97 nvidia drivers Anyone knows how it works? Do the two drivers "work together" or should I just remove one of them if it's not doing any good? Thanks in advance.
Bill
You need both drivers. If you remove one that piece of hardware won't function. If you use something like optimus or if its the new sandy bridge with GPU acceleration features, you need the intel driver for that to work.
