GeForce4 420 Go and external monitor 1440x900 resolution

Hi.

My laptop(Toshiba Satellite 2450 + GeForce4 420 Go + WX SP3) doesn't allow me to diplay the maximum resolution (1440x990) for my split screen external monitor (HP L1908w, updated).

I could only display in 1280x1024 (I think...)

So I downloaded the latest driver and inf (71.84) and installed it.

Now it's worse : I can only display in 1024x768.

How can I get the 1440x990 resolution working ?

I've searched a lot, but couldn't find out.

Can someone help me ?
