robx0mbie
Hello, I am reinstalling drivers for this beast, the video card is a gt 555m and also has an intel adapter integrated. I have installed the intel adapter but when I try to install the nvidia driver, it says there is no compatible hardware on the device. I have tried many builds of the nvidia release, however I cannot find one to install. I keep getting the same error: NVIDIA installer cannot continue This graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware. This is the file i am given from the dell support site, and the nvidia site.. please someone assist me..
tribaljet
As drastic as it might be, an OS repair (done through installation media) or even a clean install will almost certainly fix that issue. Alternatively, if you have a copy of your registry prior to those issues, that would fix the GPU identification issue.
