Modified drivers for Sony VAIO with Win7 64 bit and GeForce 9600M GT graphics card - help

Hello,

I am new here and trying to find modified drivers for my graphics card. I spent more than two hours reading, searching but did not succeed. The best drivers I have found via Search engine here were more than a year old and I need newer ones.

I say it clearly: I am not a hardware/software guru, I am only a user that has problems running one application on my notebook that requires up to date drivers. My old drivers cannot be updated the traditional way through nVidia website. So I seek for a direct help from someone who is skilled in this and can give me a direct link to download drivers that will work.

Here is what I have read that could be useful. I hope someone helps.
