zipper
Do you have Windows 10? Then you could try using our modified inf.
StefanG3D
It's this particular model: http://www.enzo-china.com/product/gamebook/wares/K36.html ? The driver from there exposes one SKU that is missing in other drivers DriverVer = 02/15/2016, 10.18.13.5946 NVIDIA_DEV.139B.1623.1BAB = "NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M" Can you check that with GPU-Z ? Upload a screenshot. If you have that subsys ID, modded drivers will be indeed mandatory.

StefanG3D
Just as i thought. 1) disable signatures https://forums.laptopvideo2go.com/topic/32210-how-to-disable-driver-signatures-on-contemporary-rigs-with-secure-boot/ 2) unpack latest driver and overwrite INF with the modified one and install https://forums.laptopvideo2go.com/topic/32229-geforce-39105-mobile-oem-hotfix/ 3) for future support file a complaint at NVIDIA https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/534575/geforce-drivers/official-nvidia-verde-notebook-gpu-driver-request-thread/1/

StefanG3D
I assume you tried to install via setup.exe Try the "have disk method" instead. Here is a nice tutorial https://www.windowscentral.com/how-install-intel-beta-graphics-drivers-surface It had been written for Intel graphics driver, but you should get the idea. mobilenvidia
If it works for me with same CPU and GPU then should also work for you also Setup and update via Device manager should both work. Does it say 'Test mode' at bottom right of desktop ? If not then you haven't disabled Signature checking If you are getting an error with update via Device manager what does it say (I assume translation needed for us) This will give us a better idea of what could be problem Setup just stops the install and says nothing of the error unless you know where to look for the log

mobilenvidia
Quote this graphics driver does not have compatible graphics hardware I don't think you have got Graphics signing check turned off and/or you have not copied/overwritten the original iNF with the modded INF (separate download) As device manager should show the driver/INF as not signed Right click windows key at bottom left of screen Click on 'Windows Powershell (Admin)', then OK Now put in the following commands to permanently disable Signature check Quote bcdedit.exe /set nointegritychecks off then Quote bcdedit.exe -set TESTSIGNING ON You should see the below, then reboot and then update and you should see Test mode on desktop

mobilenvidia
What driver are you trying to install ? You've been here: And grabbed this INF: Extracted the driver, and copied and overwritten the INF into /Display.Driver/ folder Original MUST be overwritten

zipper
Then you should put test signing mode off: Use Command Prompt to Remove Test Mode Watermark in Windows 10 To remove the test mode watermark in Windows 10, you could use Command Prompt to fix it. Follow these steps: Step 1. Open Command Prompt as an Administrator Step 2. Type in the following command and hit Enter bcdedit.exe -set loadoptions ENABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS Step 3. Enter the command below and press Enter bcdedit.exe -set TESTSIGNING OFF Step 4. Close the Command Prompt window Step 5. Reboot your computer to make changes take effect
