isfiisfar
Hi, i have an HP zbook 15 G1 running with intel i7 4700MQ processor. Originally, i had no integrated GPU, just the intel 4600. The original K2100m card is very difficult to find so i bought the Nvidia M600M, This card is compatible with Zbook 15 G3 and i saw some people doing GPU upgrades on their G1 and G2 machines online. Now i have installed the card but it doesn't work at all. I can install the drivers by tempering the inf files but still the system does not show the card anywhere else. Even the Nvidia desktop manager doesnt seem to detect any gpu while it is installed in the device manager. My hardware id is PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_13B2&SUBSYS_1909103C which i have not seen in any driver by default Can anyone help me with running this card? i am open to all suggestions
StefanG3D
Regarding the missing subsystem read the passage "Modded INF is also mandatory if you replaced your notebook GPU..." at: https://forums.laptopvideo2go.com/topic/34429-how-to-mod-and-sign-nvidia-drivers-with-tpu-nvcleanstall Check device manager for yellow bangs Check GPU entry in device manager for errors, eg the notorious code 43 Upload screenshots from GPU-Z , toggle GPU's in pulldown menu. StefanG3D
Try this workaround: in device manager right-click NVIDIA GPU select deactivate wait for black screen and Windows sound select reactivate wait for black screen and Windows sound Run GPU-Z again and check parameters. If it looks OK, then reboot computer and check if the workaround survived it. Otherwise remove old driver with DDU and try drivers from other branches. Try this old test driver 384.74 - it installs without modding!
isfiisfar
i tried the driver you gave, it installed without any error. However, right after restart the device goes to error 043 and GPUz still not shows any sign of life. could you kindly provide a vbios file for m600m?
