How to reset broken icon cache in recent insider builds

Users in several forums complained about that. Now i'm also affected :70_poop:

Here is a one-liner for a temporary fix (until it happens again).

 

taskkill /IM explorer.exe /F & CD /d %userprofile%\AppData\Local & DEL IconCache.db /a & start explorer.exe

Hello, I'm new here. Could you please advise me on what to do? All my applications on my laptop keep crashing after I installed Windows 11. Games, browsers, and other programs just crash and won't even launch. I have to constantly reboot my laptop. I heard there are some unofficial builds that are better than official ones. How much could this help with my issue? Could you provide a link to a guide or something where I could reinstall a different version (a better one) and the Microsoft Office suite?

Where exactly did you hear that? Sounds like someone is trying to sell you snake oil.

Create a system report with https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/18377/intel-system-support-utility-for-windows.html and upload the report.
