Guest doctorow Posted June 1, 2004 Report Share Posted June 1, 2004 Toshiba 5100-S201 (Bios V1.80 04/18/2003, 15V Power) with the following Graphic Card in 1024x768 resolution: Geforce 440 Go Toshiba, 32Mb, Bios V4.17.0026 VEN_10DE DEV_0174 SUBSYS_00011179 REV_A3 I am looking for a) stability and :) functionality (I use dual screen output a lot). Speed is not my primary concern. After spending an hour or two browing this amazing community, I came to the conclusion that either the 44.68 or the 56.82 is best for my hardware. Am I right? ®®® Posted June 1, 2004 Report Share Posted June 1, 2004 5100-s201 works with 45.62 and 56.82 !! I would definitely use 56.82, which has an visually improved ControlPanel for all your "output" (TV, CRT, Clone, Span or whatever) needs. Also many of the newer games need drivers higher than 4x.xx to work correct (see FarCry). v45.62 or v44.68 might be faster in any synthetic benchmark, but real life is somewhat different.
