Hey guys,

I have a Inspiron 8600 with GeForceFX 5650 GO... and with modded drivers, 5.72 in a lot of cases mouse becomes jumpy... I move the mouse and the cursor is very slow to response and jumps from location to location.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Try feeding your mouse on High Protein cheese.

Seriously now, have you tried pluggin the mouse into the other USB port (if you have more than one)

This is a odd, thing to happen, I used to have problems with the modem and the video.

When I changed resolution the modem would cut out (hangup) this happend with 4x.xx drivers.

Since the 50's it hasn't happened, what I'm trying to say there could be an IRQ conflict.

Laptops have a habit of piling all devices onto IRQ10.

Make sure the latest Intel Chipset drivers have been installed (v6), there is a direct link on the website under downloads.

And any other drivers that use the same IRQ as the mouse (USB ports).

Network etc.

Latest BIOS installed ?

Hope this helps,

Pieter
