:: NOTES

- 18.05.2004: NVIDIA released an official QuadroCertified version of v56.54 & v56.56 with more Languages in the driver archive and support for more cards, but v56.54 is not WHQL certified.

The new NVIDIA v56.54 release has SETUP.exe files inside, the nvnt4cpl.dll and the Modes.txt are also different.

The new NVIDIA v56.56 is the same except modes.txt and the INF. The INF specifies:

%NVIDIA_NV34.DEV_0327.1% = nv4_NV3x,[tab][/tab][tab][/tab]   PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0327

as

NVIDIA_NV34.DEV_0327.1 = "NVIDIA GeForce FX 5100"

I added download link and description for v56.54 & v56.56.

The INF for 56.54 was out since 9th March on the main website of Pieter.

- 17.04.2004: updated ISSUES RESOLVED section with 98/ME

v56.54:

- supposed to be a mobile driver. Will it ever be released?

- Desktop/Quadro driver for 2K.XP, filedate 26.01.2004, released 18.05.2004, ENGLISH only, with a bunch of mobile INFs (on our server)

The official NVIDIA release is MultiLanguage and ~18MB

v56.55:

- Desktop driver for 2K.XP, filedate 29.01.2004, released 15.02.2004, WHQL, MultiLanguage

- New things to play with, a very good driver, havn't worked out the speed settings yet

- from Gainward, Leadtek & also from AOpen (~15 MB)

v56.56:

- Desktop driver for 2K.XP, filedate 04.02.2004, released 22.02.2004, WHQL, MultiLanguage

- released eVGA & Albatron

- The Official release that got pulled at the last minute because of slow UT performance.

- 18.05.2004: NVIDIA also released this today officially as QuadroCertified
