Guest miejas Posted October 25, 2004 Report Share Posted October 25, 2004 There are all kinds of strange things that happen when I run games with the modded inf (and the 61.something dirvers). Floors dissapearing, lots and lots op artefacts, objects without textures (they show black or purple) and the worst of all: crash to desktop. With my original drivers (56.77), no problems, but the performance is too low :) Are the drivers causing the trouble or is it the fact that these are not really Go-drivers.. LSudlow Posted October 25, 2004 Report Share Posted October 25, 2004 There's no difference between Go drivers and desktop drivers other than the INF file that the laptop manufacturers (and we) provide. Make sure the version of the INF matches the version of the driver you downloaded, and try some more recent drivers to see what happens. Some drivers truly don't work well with some games and/or laptops while the next version might work quite well. If you're looking for a faster driver, give 66.81 a try.
