You can use MCE with your GPU.

The modded INFs will work with MCE as well, so you can have the latest drivers.

MCE and XP are basicly the same OS, MCE has media extensions.

Enjoy.

Last time I checked Windows media center editiong had some different drivers that regular XP did.

http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxpmce_66.93.html

Try making a separate mod INF for those Pieter.

Also, WOOT 400 post! :P :) :( :)

Edit: It looks like those drivers are identical to the regular xp ones....

Guess I was wrong, that guy could post the working INF he is currently using.

The regular modded 66.93 should work for this.

In the .inf file of the latest nvidia mce drivers there is nothing refered to geforce4 440 go.

The same in the modded inf

The modded INF (from Pieter) has the GF 440 go in it... (look near the bottem)

The device ID of your card is a 0174 right?....

  • 2 weeks later...

Is there anything MCE specific details we might have to know?

I mean i can't verify, because i never saw or used MCE so i have no insight in this OS. It *should* be almost the same like XP, that's what i *read*, but has anybody a clue what might be different to XPHome/Pro driver wise (except the "Media Extensions")?
