®®®
:: UPDATES :: DETAILS v71.50 | LV2Go Information file mobile and desktop driver for 2K.XP released by Leadtek ( :) to "Garifox" for the hint ) we moved all mobile OEM INF(s) into a seperate directory to avoid installation problems more & detailed informations in the LV2Go Information file supported GPUs: see INF (link is in the .NFO file) :: OPEN ISSUES As with every released driver, version 71.5x of the Release 70 drivers has open issues and enhancement requests associated with it. What follows is a list of issues that are either not fixed or not implemented in this version. Some problems listed may not have been thoroughly investigated and, in fact, may not be NVIDIA issues. Others will have workaround solutions. :: ISSUES RESOLVED Significant issues resolved in driver version 71.5x :: OPINION [*by LSudlow] On the same day the brand new 71.40 driver emerges, it's immediately upstaged by the even newer version 71.50. Visually, 71.50 is a superb driver, with some of the best image quality I've seen in a while. There's even a slight improvement in 3DMark05. But these come at a performance penalty in both 3DMark03 and 3DMark05. Even so, these are not the slowest drivers in the 71.xx series. I'll repeat the recommendation I gave 71.40: Owners of 128MB (or more) cards might want to give 71.50 a try, especially if you enjoy having the very latest technology on your machine. And more especially if you want to see a nice jump in image quality. However, owners of cards with 64MB (or less) of RAM should stay with 67.03 (/edit/ or 67.66 /edit/) :: BENCHMARKS [*by LSudlow] driver performance comparison charts for some GPUs for GF2 Go: HERE from Pieter (v16.20 - v61.77) for FX Go5200: HERE from Larry (v5x.xx - current) for FX Go5700: HERE from Sky-Dexter (v65.73 - current) :: DOWNLOAD & This and all other drivers available at LaptopVideo2Go are 7-zipped and come as a self-extracting archive for your convenience. mobilenvidia
Nearly forgot. I removed the orignal Leadtek installer, for reasons of compatability. The nVdia installer is still there like always. Original INF has lots of GPU's rem'ed out, and the GPU's are renamed to the Leadtek video card names. So a modded INF will really be needed unless you have a Leadtek Video card (desktop) Enjoy
®®®
Pieter, can you give me a filelist of the leadtek installer files?
mobilenvidia
Just your usual installer files, this driver came in a subdir, the leadtek setup files were in the main dir. Files are: data1.cab data1.hdr data2.cab engine32.cab layout.bin setup.exe, ibt, ini, inx, and bmp.

Rene, your thoughts on this. I've moved the OEM INFs to subdir, and am reloading, this should make life easier for Lappy owners.

Rene, your thoughts on this. I've moved the OEM INFs to subdir, and am reloading, this should make life easier for Lappy owners. My thought: Complicated. I'm working on this. For now you have to move the OEM infs to a seperate directory in the driver and then process it, but the "Original v71.50 INFs".zip will then not include all infs :)

Bugger, Leadtek has changed the way this normally works. I no longer have the original Leadtek driver so I can change this. I can't find the original files anywhere everyone has butchered versions (our is probably still the best, even though it could be better) I had to have a clean up on the HD only had 100MB free (from 30GB) choka full of drivers. I had to get rid of all the originals. BTW I see that Guru3D has just copied our driver and uploaded it on their server. Including my small blunder with the Leadtek installer. (a small bonus for this wee blunder)
Jeroen
A new inf for the MEDION MD 41300 laptop owners, tested and works great! Use this inf ONLY if you have this laptop, otherwise you can damage your videocard! It's based on Pieter's 50.51 Performance inf for the 71.50 driver. The TV-out is fixed, and you have not to worry about problems with your screen! nv4_disp.inf

®®®
Hallo Oesterreich, in der INF sollte kein Fehler sein, advanced.tvp wird eh nur fuer Quadros gebraucht. Benutz den Geraetemanager und die "selbst nach Treibern suchen Methode" zum Installieren.
