Hello,

Wanting to know if you can modify the latest drivers to support the TC1100 - it has specific tablet features (auto portrait/landscape mode switch etc) that we need to keep running properly.

Currently the HP release drivers are old. For steps along the way to modding the TC1100 drivers, check out the work done for the TC1000, the previous model here:

Regards,

Shane.

I'm sure Pieter will be on this but I'll have a look as well.

By any chance do you have a link to the old drivers?

What driver version are you looking for?

foo's INF file is wrong and won't install. Not a bad attempt.

Pieter, if you mod this take a look at the NVHB.inf from a newer driver set -- I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. Attached is 45.74.

Would be interesting if one of Pieters INFs also works on Tablet PCs..

Actually there are a few drivers released for Tablet PCs:

http://forums.laptopvideo2go.com/index.php?showforum=11

v56.63 (NVHB.inf) and v45.74 (from HP.COMPAQ/WindowsUpdate)

Pieter would have to make some modifications to the INF to support the Tablets.

Have a driver version preference, Shane? The 56.63 as dontknow points out should work.

  • 2 weeks later...

After installing the 56.63 (or any modified driver so far) I get a DLL error that seems related to the screen orientation auto detect (portrait / landscape).

Anyone got any ideas?

Regards,

Shane.

Scritch,

What is your GPU in your tablet ?

Can you attach your last working driver INF here.

I'll have a look and attempt to make a modded INF around it.

Sorry about delay, this thread must have slipped through my net.

Pieter.

56.91 has been modded as to allow for TabletPC installs. (Display orientation)

I need Guinea Pigs to test it.

I may have to rearrange the way the INF copies the nview profile files.

I need to re-install my testing partition for me to test this driver.

Pieter.
