®®®
I updated the stickied ALPS driver topic and listed all available 6.30x.x drivers for different Toshiba models (and probably different DEV_IDs) with download location. There's no changelog available @ Toshiba. Maybe inside the drivers. It might be possible to compare & then 'combine' (like the NV drivers) the INFs for the variety of models and make a All-in-One driver available. If anyone is able to do that, it would be helpful for the Laptop community with ALPS touchpad.
sn0wl
Isn't there a generic driver? What's the website of ALPS corp.?
Bill
This is the Alps website: (Edit: They have a few others as well) http://www.alps.com/ Good luck finding drivers there, I am searching right now, I will look into device IDs in my drivers when I have some time later... I guess you could say I am making some progress, I think this is what my keyboard is, well atleast the one in my laptop: http://www3.alps.co.jp/npv_pdf/05-002_KFRS_E.pdf This is my pointer stick I think: http://www3.alps.co.jp/npv_pdf/rl_rk_rd_e.pdf Edit: Since those are pretty much the only ones (although the pointer sticks come in different sizes), the drivers could be standardized probably. :) Attached is the INF for my driver:(the one found here: ftp://ftp.us.dell.com/input/R89598.EXE) It looks modable, my driver has some version info, you should check the Toshiba ones ®®®. ®®®
Is there no other INF included? That's a filter driver with out any DEV_IDs :) you should check the Toshiba ones ®®®.I can't DL currently, that's why i posted the links (also for reference and for the one who wants to play with it).Bill you could try to download at least the most recent Toshiba one and try out if it installs on your Touchpad. I also had a look for Alps drivers yesterday, but there's nothing except Printer drivers on the Alps site and really old versions for older Laptops around the NET. Useless. It seems the OEMs are responsible for driver releasing. So a true mobile driver :) as there are no touchpad on desktops .
