Guest matrixhax0r
Well, I really like nVidia, but with my last laptop buying choice, Dell only offered good ATI cards. What where they thinking??? ATI has worse laptop support. Worse linux support. And they don't have an awsome community like this. I mean, the most current ATI drivers for my Inspiron 8600 is 4.10 which came out October last year... You need at least 5.6 in order to use that WMP HD patch. The only way I get recent drivers is in linux. But in linux, they are way worse than nVidia's stuff. For instance, you can't change antialasing settings on the fly and the render extension for X doesn't work at all. Plus nVidia has documentation and a great utility. Err, on a side note, there is that really cool overclocking utility that was way better than nVidia's. It's a shame though because ATI is even adding these things to block overclocking. In short, I love nVidia :)
