Guest Guest Posted August 29, 2005 Report Share Posted August 29, 2005 mmm yeah get those drivers sure but um beware of the system freezes that took me about 2 weeks to figure out was caused by those driver. System used to freeze 4-5 times a day could not figure out for the life of me till I realized the frequency increased with net activity. Rolled back the drivers been running 20 hors+ no freeze. Guest craig Posted September 11, 2005 Report Share Posted September 11, 2005 second that. the more i used the network (like internet, etc.), the more chance of a system freeze. i rolled back the drivers to 8.32.2.3 and i have'nt had a feeze yet. i mean, sh*t, i have a clue about computers - i studied comp.sci in uni - but even so, it took me a good 3 weeks of crying, gnashing my teeth, mixed with a good dose of lost work, before i figured this one. what about the people with no clue? what about the people who don't know what to do? do they call out some tech-support at ?10/hour to sort this out?
